The intent of this paper is not to disparage the use of in-situ RH testing, but rather to encourage more comprehensive evaluation of concrete floor slabs intended to host floor covering or coating systems. Concrete floor slab evaluation needs to be more comprehensive than typically performed, including, but not limited to, the collection of In-situ Relative Humidity test data.
